Meet the Provider
Kodie Mobbs, LSWAIC
I love helping people find and identify the different parts of themselves and how they present different roles and faces depending upon the situation or environment. I enjoy providing space for learning how to mesh these roles and faces together to create who the person is and how to be comfortable with that. The more we understand the parts of ourselves and know who we are, the more we know how to cope with life and what life throws at us, the more we understand to adapt, grow, and heal. This helps us understand and honor ourselves better. I’d love to be able to help you identify who you are, so you can be who you want to be.
I have worked extensively with adolescents and young adults who experience anxiety and depression who have experienced trauma. I have experience working with parents who are trying to survive parenthood. I have assisted adults who find themselves overwhelmed with the stressors of life. I'd be honored to help you as well.
I have the belief that we innately and intuitively have resources that we use to cope with life though they may not be the healthiest options or we may not realize that we use them. My various trainings and experiences provide an eclectic approach to "think outside of the box" to find options that work best for each client and their beliefs. Therapy is a unique journey that is defined by each individual person. Through a sense of curiosity and teamwork we can develop a strategy that works best for you.
Facing our "stuff" is hard, but you don't have to face it alone. You are one step closer to being "you" by being here right now. When you have honored your identity, you heal yourself. Healing yourself, heals the generations yet to come. Are you ready to be who you want to be?
