Start Therapy

Ready to see if we might be a good fit?

Starting therapy doesn't require having the perfect explanation for what is happening or knowing exactly what you need. You can start with what you know, and we can figure out the rest together.

I offer telehealth psychotherapy for clients who are physically located in Idaho or Washington at the time of their session, along with traditional psychotherapy in an outdoor setting and equine-assisted psychotherapy at my property in Athol, Idaho.

My current therapy schedule is primarily during daytime hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Get in touch

You can call or text 509.386.2888 or email info@whisperingwindstherapy.com. Text or email is generally the easiest way to reach me.

When you reach out, it's helpful to include whether you're seeking therapy for yourself or your child, what type of appointment you're interested in, and your general availability.

You don't need to send your whole history. Please avoid including sensitive health or clinical information in an initial text or standard email.

What happens next?

After you reach out, we'll first make sure the type of therapy you're looking for and my current availability line up.

The usual starting point is a paid 55-minute therapy appointment rather than a brief consultation call. Your first session gives us time to get to know one another, talk about what is bringing you to therapy, and begin exploring what you're hoping will be different.

You don't need to arrive ready to tell your entire story. We'll start where you are. If we continue working together, assessment can unfold over time.

Fees & Insurance

Traditional psychotherapy is $180 per 55-minute session. Traditional psychotherapy may be billed to insurance when applicable.

Equine-assisted psychotherapy is $225 per 55-minute session and is private pay.

For current information about insurance and billing, visit the FAQ.

If you are uninsured or do not plan to use insurance to pay for your care, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges.
